If you are going to the Dixon's Wal-Mart, be careful
I was coming back from Tahoe tonight and wanted to stop by Wal-Mart to pick up a few things. On the drive back from Tahoe to Dixon, CA (just south of Davis), I didn't notice anything unordinary and my car was driving just like it should. After I left the Walmart, I thought maybe I got a flat tire or something because I felt a vibration in the steering wheel that I never had before. I went all the way to Richmond before I couldn't take it anymore and pulled over to a gas station and checked the air pressure. All were within reason. I got info SF and noticed that it got progressively worse and thought that it may be my CV axle or Tie Rods going out. I was so close to home that I decided that I'm just going to take the risk of driving it home. When I got within a mile of home, I knew exactly which wheel it was (I couldn't tell before) and when I got home, I looked closely at the wheel and felt the lug nuts and 3 of them were very loose. So loose that there is no possible way that 3 of them could have came loose over the last month (since I mounted the wheels to the car myself). Anyhow, I'm led to believe without a doubt that someone tried to steal my stock WRX wheels at the Dixon Wal-Mart. I don't know why they'd want my stock wheels but more than that, it's a safety hazard and I'd rather give them the wheels than risk my life. Hope those scumbags rot in hell. Be careful where you park and especially in that area as there may be car prowlers on the lookout for parts.

I was there for maybe 45 min. These were the stock '02 WRX wheels that I actually bought from a cool guy from Santa Cruz named Zach (he may frequent these boards often). I was the third car from the store too in the parking aisle right directly outside the door. I can imagine if I was parked at the end of the lot where it is dark but I was parked right in front (and to top it off, my car looked filthy from the dirt on the way to/from Tahoe). Anyhow, glad I am alive and made it home safely. Now I will be looking to put wheel locks on my OEM wheels.

Woops! Sorry kYLEMtnCRUZr, it wasn't you that I got my wheels from. I looked through my email and the guy was Zach but he was from Santa Cruz as well and I confused the two of you. Once again sorry about that!
