Uh, why the hell should Shiv be commended for his work in this thread?! Nothing about this thread even remotely questions Shiv's ability to tune a car! I know damn well that he knows what the f' he is doing, all I was upset about was him leaving the park faster than he should have!!!
And fwiw, the posted speed limit is 15mph. There is wildlife, such as deer, wild pigs, etc all over the place and they will jump out in front of you, and I know because it's happened to me several times. On that day alone I say about a dozen deer, a pig, and countless squirrels. Lets not forget about the human factor, and the ranger factor.
That's all I'm steamed about. I have nothing against Shiv (Yeah, did in the past, it was immature, I'm over it, sorry Shiv), but come on!

I am not saying that speeding out of hammy is his right. I am just saying people automatically have a bitter taste in their mouth when it comes to Shiv because of **** they have heard of... so many people talk **** when they have never had any experience. I had a bad experience and I put it well behind me.
And I feel he deserves respect for his talents.. and many people diss him despite that.. because they hear people talk **** so they follow the crowd. How is that right in anyway?

My cousin has a ferrari f430 (he did a test drive on one before ordering his) and before he ever drove his actual f430 he sent it to some place i believe in michigan or somewhere out there, and had over 200g's worth of work done to it.. i still have yet to get a ride in it.. but i can tell you.. that car is worth every penny.. if you have that kinda dough to spend.... one might say its a lot of money to drop on a car.. but ya know.. when his wife walks around with a 3/4 million dollar wedding ring on her finger.. its really not that much LOL.

I took Rau and my wife up to the top in my N/A pizzawagon, and Rau invited this person along to come along behind. I thought with a turbo (STi conversion?) RS, he'd be able to keep up...
...unfortunately, he wasn't. He was crossing double solid yellows among other things...and got a few comments from the motorcyclist who was watching us come up the hill.
FWIW, the motorcyclist was watching me as well, and said I was perfectly fine...single lane, no tire squealing, and just moving right along up the hill.

And since everyone is in this thread, and read it and such, I'd like to say something.
About a year ago I went off on Shiv based on information I was given by someone I thought was a friend of mine, however, that person provided false information for whatever reason, and in turn made me lash out on Shiv. I played the devils advocate, but to the extreme! For that, I am sorry... I was wrong and misguided, and I really shouldn't have been part of any bashing what so ever... So I'll come forward with my mistake with the public. I was wrong... Shiv is Shiv.... We have conflicting personatlies, but thats okay, we're different people... that doesn't mean we can't be friends or respect each other.
After what I said to you man, you had ***** coming up to Hamilton, but I greeted you with a handshake and smile and offered you food and such, because I know I was in the wrong and really shouldn't have done all that I did. So thanks for coming out man... I owe you a beer, to say the least.

The R8 is much more pedestrian, and really can't be compared with the Gallardo, when it comes to the driving experience. Would I still take an R8? Bet your bottom dollar I would.
If you have driven both, then I am interested to hear why you don't agree with this analysis.
And that is all I will add to this thread.

To be honest, ive never driven an exotic..... one day...... one day.....
lets not get off topic about speeding out of the park!!!
Dont get me wrong, your lambo/audi is an astounding machine, just not my cup of tea.
I guess its kinda hard to be biased considering im not even allowed to walk into a ferrari dealership =/
But i would take an Honda NSX over any of those overpriced cars anyways!!
Isnt the Murcealago faster then the gallardo? Murce is v12 600hp while gallordo is v10 400 something right?
No, the gallardo actually has a higher top-speed. I may be VERY VERY Wrong on this one. But I recall the gallardo was an all around faster car than the murcealago.
