I would love to have Bill Walsh back. Anybody is better that Marriuchi. He can't coach...if the players don't win it on thier own, the niners lose. When it came down to critical coaching decisions, I am pretty sure that the niners lost, about 95% of the time.

And Gagan, why you got to be so harsh. You better hope that the Raiders take it all this year, because next year, they are all going to be in rest homes! LoL

Certain 49er fans keep crapping on the Raiders, and i'm fed up. I'm not gonna just blow it off anymore...

You're right though, damn old people...

Actually, it's Al Davis that needs to leave that franchise... that guy makes some stupid decisions

Hell yeah......I would love to have Holmgren, but Seattle said they were going to keep him as the Head Coach, but fire him as the GM...

He is a great coach, and grew up in the Niners Org. He would be great.

Mooch just sucks...I can't stand him. He is in NO WAY aggressive enough to win the big games.

Marty from Sunny San Diego would be good too. Dan Reeves too...but all of these guys have teams, and towns that love them.

Dan Reeves nor Marty could work for the 49ers....

Talk is cheap. Bring it next year. Maybe the Niners will win one of these GB/SF games. Or maybe not.

Yeah, we got Doug Pederson......Gulp......as backup. Favre will play again for a few more years.

You can always hire Jim Mora. So Daddy and son can be together. But you guys would hear that quote every year " Playoffs, Playoffs, I just hope we can win a fricking game"

Wanna trade Tyrone Williams for Mike Rumph?

My, what diversity of subject matter here...

Mariucci needs Favre or Holmgren or somebody to tell him to grow some *****, and play to win games instead of to not get fired. He's still calling the same gameplan he called his first year after Young and Rice went down. Made great sense then, limiting as hell now.

Raiders fans, rejoice that the Glazer boys are really that stupid, otherwise they would have gotten Mariucci for nearly what Gruden cost, then they would have given less than that to help Old Man Al dump Gruden. That would have been nifty.

Name a better cover man drafted later than Mike Rumph this year.

Old school coaches like Marty and Reeves would never want to be in SF nor would they be welcomed. Niners like to keep it all in the West Coast family. My money is on Mooch staying, because like the rest of the league knows, nobody would have done better with this team the last two years, and there sure as hell isn't anyone out there now who could do better. Holmgren is staying put, Denny Green couldn't handle it either, but what about this one... Jimmie J? Wouldn't he love to step out of retirement, take the reigns of one of the most promising young rosters in the NFL, win a title or 2 while Parcells is blowing gaskets at his awful QBs and Jerry is having a coronary? I'd be happy to laugh right along with him.

Greg Knapp is worthless. Throw money at Bill Musgrave to jump the sinking ship in Denver and be the offensive coordiantor/savior.
