if you avoided a deer and crashed the car...
if you avoided a deer and crashed into the curb...how is that your fault? However, if you hit the deer, then it would be considered as comprehensive...and i woult NOT be at fault. Can someone explain?

i dont get it either.
if you in some way die from hitting a deer, its ok, but if you die front avoiding a deer, its your fault?

Insurance is a HUGE risk game. you're either dealt the cards or some deals you. It's the unfortunate price you pay for getting behind the wheel in the first place... even if it means your premium goes up.

I hit a deer going uhm.. over the speedlimit, in my first car (90' 240sx) and i wasn't listed at fault. They didn't wanna total my car, strange as that may be, ended up being around 2500$ or so in damage. They did want me to leave the "leftovers" on my car for the adjustor to verify that I hit a deer, was kinda foul driving around w/ that **** on my bumper/windshield for a couple days.

A friend of mine had the same problem a few years back, he crashed avoiding a deer and got screwed by his insurance company. He would have been better off hitting the deer.
