Maybe it's their way of protesting the 55mph speed limit for trucks vs. the 70mph speed limit for cars. It honestly is dangerous. When I'm driving through Nevada, Utah or any other state where the speed limit is 70mph for both cars and trucks, there's never issues like that.

I agree that the cutting off/screwed maneuver problem is reduced when the trucks do not have the speed control imposed on them....but at 70 it takes a stupidly long time to stop a truck that is loaded.
