Why does it have to involve racing - how about people bring LCD TVs and we have multiple TVs setup with Wiis, PS3s, 360s etc. with all sorts of competitive games. I also wouldn't mind seeing a huge poker tournament included as well.

Thats a GREAT idea and I would love for something like that to happen!

We could have a DDR competition also... jk about that.

Hahha, it'd be like our budget race track day! The Porsche guys rent a real track, the subaru guys rent gran turismo!

I think there first needs a committee to get things in order.

Event Planner - Someone to scope out different locations and get all necessary permits and insurance needed.

Treasurer(s) - keeps account of all the accounting and costs and ticket sales.

Vendor management person - to organize the vendors that are willing to participate and assign them spots, makes sure they pay and what they are going to contribute

Entertainment Czar- Organize games and events

Car show judges and organizers

Food preparation and setup

Clean up crew

Parking lot attendants

Theses are some ideas i'm throwing out there.
It would be nice to form a group instead of someone just doing everything all at once.

since its about ideas< why not do something like a trackday/car show or vendor show off. i know it may be quite $$$ but some tracks have good rental rates (buttonwillow ), maybe thunderhill???
