I say we go up to the beach during the rain and bring some over hangs, cause a small water fall type setting for the cars, set up some umbrellas for the lights and do this up guerilla (sp?) style. Just my 0.02 cents. I got canon EF lens and some pocket wizards on 3 lights if anyone wants to try something.

Yeah, there is a bit of color balance I changed, but not much.

Still, not a bad picture for a point-and-shoot...

haha i meant you took 4 pictures of 1 white car and cut and pasted them into 1, because seeing 4 white cars is like a 1/20 chance or whatever. Yeah its a cool pic...just noticed different wings so it really was 4 different white cars.

too bad the silver one had to show up... haha

rockaway beach on the way to pacifica. you can get the spray of the water behind the car if you time it right. plus there's a seafood place that's pretty good and they have a big lot thats usually empty.

stock XTi with stock lens, programmed mode, ISO100, I think f3.5 forgot exposure time...

It's in the EXIF data I believe...too lazy to look.

I'm selling my Canon 20D body for $480 if anyone wants to buy it.

Recent tune up by Canon with proof of purchase and tune receipts as of Sept. 2007. So its better than new reliability-wise

1GB CF and 2 batteries, original box and all original accesories

tiny hairline scratch on quarter of LCD, hardly visible when on.

8.2mp 5 FPS shooting

don't know any beach locations that weren't already mentioned (mos def Big Sur and Monterey are awesome). i'm about 2 1/2 hrs north of the bay area and there are some cool locations here. below are some links to my images. they're all shot near the Sutter Butte mountains. btw the road to Big Sur is a great road to drive.

BTW, the Rodeo Beach is out...they have protective orange nylon fencing around the entire perimeter, probably due to the oil spill. Not a pretty beach scene right now.
