I sold my 2.5RS and all I got was this stupid strut bar!

I finally sold my RS yesterday, after 10 years of ownership (almost 10 years). That car had soooo many memories with it, it was kind of sad to see it go, but I know the new owner is going to take great care of her (He is taking all of his STi RA drivetrain parts and adding them to the RS, so it will be a modernized STi in a GC chassis). I sold it to a fellow member named "mda", he's from sac and used to drive a unicorn RS (Green RS, 1998, only like 100 of them were made. That car was a fully swapped car, then someone rear ended him and totaled the car! doh! ).
I sold the car for cheap, but good karma on my side as I got full STi strut bars/brace out of it on top of the cash, oh and a gauge pod too!

The selling of the RS was def an end of an era... I'll never forget the first day I got her... *tear* I'm glad to know that someone really cool got the car though! I get to drive it when it's fully swapped!

Also, thanks for showing us a friendly welcome while we were there. Your whole family is very good people! We were shocked, it was like we were part of the family. ![Big Grin](https://www.i-club.com/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
I've got to come by this coming month some time and buy more stuff from you, and drop more parts off to you.

Pretty cool all around... It is hard to let a cool car go when you have had it for a while (I had an '01 BRP RS Coupe as well, awesome car) but then when you see the new owner's excitement it sort of makes you rest easy - like you know it's going to be cared for. ![Smilie](https://www.i-club.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
brucelee - that was pretty awesome to offer a deal to someone in the community and what a deal that was!
