I saw the movie "30 Days Of Night" (The new Vampire movie)

It's probably the worst movie I've ever had the displeasure of watching.

I was forced to go with some people, so it wasn't my choice.

I can't even begin to describe how bad this story-less piece of crap is.

I give it a 2 out of 10.

That sucks. I was looking forward to seeing that. On a side note, I watched House of the Dead over the weekend. It was horrible, lots of *******, but horrible.

Horrible movie. Can't believe I had high expectations for it. It wasn't even good in a cheesy horror movie kind of way either, it just plain sucked.

if you follow vampire lore, they were just normal folks who "turn" into the vampire creatures.

i thought that dude looked like rick o cassick (SP? - lead singer of THE CARS -- if you are old enough)... lol...

Same here..my gf said it was so awesome so I went with her to see it, with hopes of being scared. It SUCKED LONG AND HARD! It was just people running around and vampires just chillin and eatin them.
The other thing that really pisses me off is that in the beginning of the movie the vampires are Uber kick *** and can't be hurt evar. In the end, they are dumber than a rock and almost kill themselves.
1/10
*edit* Oh, and there is like no storyline as to why the effin vampires are there! And on top of all this isht theres even a love story.

There was also a scene in the beginning where the "lead" vampire says something along the lines of "You have to remove there heads". As if they've never seen humans before. Then, near the end of the movie he said something along the lines of, "We spent hundreds of years convincing people we were just a bad dream". Just didn't make any sense.

And don't even get me started on the screeching. Like the vampires decided that the sound of an asthma attack was a good idea for a language.

The vamps were there because there was no sun for 30 days... one of the only parts of the story I understood

I can't see how this could possibly be worse than The Invisible.

hijack

Oh man, I was so disappointed with that movie. The trailer looked so awesome with the old man - and that was a full scene they left out of the movie. =/ It's probably on the new DVD but I refuse to watch it again.

I don't think anything can possibly be worse than Lady in the water or unbreakable;

It's about this guy that gets killed and he has to find his body to live again. It's a really bad movie. I'm tempted to watch the original Swedish film, since the endings are different.

I wouldn't bother with The Invisible. Here's the IMDB link:

yeah i was looking forward to see it because i had a friend that said it was better than 28 weeks later, and i really liked that movie. So i had high expectations for this movie, but it blew goats.

It also didnt help that i was sitting by a few sterotypical scary movie watcher.

It's disappointing that this movie seems to be getting poor reviews. It was a cool premise (Vampires attack a town in Alaska for the month that the sun doesn't rise), and a really well done graphic novel by Steve Niles. I'm still probably going to see it, but this sounds like yet another case of the book is much better than the movie.

As far as "Invisible" goes, yeah, that movie was horrible. I want my 90 minutes back. The girl that kills the dude can only hear him when he yells at her at first or says something that gets her attention, then all of a sudden she sees him 100%? Stupid.
