Considering that the bugeye's brakes kinda suck from the factory... I'd at least spring for good pads.
You'd be surprised how much this little bugger improves brake feel
TiC Impreza Master Cylinder Brace
Yes, the TiC is worth it. Love the brake feel after getting it, SS lines are a great addition as well.

+1 Stoptech StreetPerformance are, imho, the best street pad. Less dust, no squeak, and better initial bite than my HAWK HP pads I have. Pretty affordable too. As soon as my HAWK HP fronts are done, I'm immediately switching over to the Stoptech SPs.

For great prices look at rockauto. I got my stoptech pads and my rotors there.

To the OP: I believe bugeye WRXs switched brake pads depending on if they were early or late model production. Verify you're getting the correct pads prior to purchasing.

WRX brake pad differences

It's a great reference for the differences in pads.

Edit: Forgot to say, the Brembo blanks are just rebranded Centric rotors. So as Heedz put below, get Centric premiums if you want a blank rotor. Best bang for the buck.

Word.

If you're gonna do an upgrade I'd upgrade the whole package. If you're trying to save a buck I'd get blanks... not slotted and spend some money on upgrading your lines. A lot of times you can do an entire package installed for a pretty solid deal. I had GST do mine back in the day.

I went Cetric. Hawk. Stoptech Lines.

I ended up dumping the rotors in the front because they didn't agree with me. Went DBA.

So I'd either just do some stock stuff if you're trying to stay cheap or I'd upgrade the whole deal.

Rotors.
Pads.
Lines.
Fluid.

Brace is bonus. I honestly wouldn't do it immediately. Wait a couple months. The money is better spent in quality parts ON the brakes. The braces can come later.
