I keep smelling gasoline + bad mpg =Any Ideas.

If there's no smell from the engine bay don't bother checking in there. I would HIGHLY doubt that it is an injector unless you've just recently taken them out. Just check areas where you smell gas, look for an oily spot under your car to see if it's leaking there.

Is there an active recall on the fuel smell problem in California? I know Subaru was taking care of this in cold states, and I heard talk of them doing it here too, but I forget if that ended up happening or not.

i would say winter. cold weather makes smells stick or linger and winter blend gas usually nets worse mpg. but a drop of 70miles/tank there deff is something up. damn i was thinking my 275miles/tank was horrible on my vf protuned setup but damn 210 a tank is bad!
