I just drove one of the fastest cars that I've ever driven (cadillac at that!!!)

You read right, my friend and I swapped keys (His Cadillac cts-v vs my 2007 STi)

His CTS-V is black on black with full exhaust and intake with a tune... I can't even begin to describe how fast this car was!!! I've driven vipers, I've driven high HP Grand Nationals, and even high end Corvettes (Z06's of various sorts) but this CADILLAC, yes, CADILLAC was so much faster than ANY of the cars Ive ever driven in... It felt lie a bat on steroids flying out of hell! It made my friend's E46 M3 feel like a 1995 honda civic automatic... Oh lord, that thing was just AMAZING! After driving it I got back into my STi with a big frown on my face because I felt so slow afterwords.

I never even know Cadillac made cars that went this fast, so when he told me he had a fast Caddy, I laughed at him and told him that we could trade keys for a little while to get a taste of each others cars. WOW, his car was BRUTALLY FAST... So much torque and so loud, I felt like I was in a jet!

Anyone ever see one of thise cars in real life? Perhaps ridden in one? The car is NO JOKE and will RUIN an STi or EVO, even with a bunch of mods (though we would win in the twisties without a problem, Im just talking about raw power)

Looks very ordinary, so be ware on the roads!!!

I drove a black on black one. I seriously am thinking of buying one sometime in the distant future after Im all Subaru'd out... Maybe the wife needs a new car? That'd be a disaster for her to drive that... She'd end up plowing into something at like 500mph, lol

Anyone driven one?

My uncle owns one, I guess I should try to drive it. My favorite car I've driven so far is my girlfriend's dad's 2006 Mercedes CL65 AMG

Thant sounds exhilarating! I`ve seen these on the road and I think they`re one of the best looking Cadillacs, imo.

They do, but the older models had the standard corvette motor in them. The new 2010 version has the motor out of the Corvete ZR1 in it.

I think the standard non modified version would still get beat by a Viper. It would be pretty damn close with the new 2010 model though.

Let put it this way...
I've heard that the district manager for Audi drives a Caddy, not an S8.

I drove one as well...IIRC, it was heavy, but very fast - very nice "auto" suspension as well IMHO, but it still cornered slow...it was good enough for me that I went and looked at one until I realized I don't have any money

My next car will likely be one of these or the 335/535....

I believe those are available with a 6-speed manual. I would definitely drive one, thought about it a few times. I'd rather own one of those than a 5-series BMW.

Comparing one to E46 M3 isn't really fair -- even my Forester is as fast as one of those.
