it's more because I've watched their show for years, and they do ALOT of stuff on the hills next to our vehicle barn behind the jail.
I do a lot of weekly training at the sheriffs office in dublin, so it's kinda cool to have my favorite TV people doing their show right there

plus, I mainly got a kick out of it because it was LEGO's

You can't say that X number of Lego pieces weigh X lbs. Unless you're using all the same Lego (i.e. 1 tall x 6 long). If you're using all different Lego parts then your calculations are awful estimates that don't mean jack. The Mythbusters half *** so many things. That really bothers me about the show.

I'd be willing to bet that getting your hands on a million Lego bits isn't as hard as they make it sound. Have you SEEN a Lego store? Buy it out... done.

I didn't watch the video. I have no speakers at work.

if you watch the video, you'll see that they used the same size lego piece

4x2 http://www.instructables.com/files/d...KQZ.MEDIUM.jpg

he weighs the same size pieces several times to determine that it's 160 per pound.

so they "got their hands" on about half a mil of the same 4x2 size, not all random sizes which you'd get from the store in their sets.

Honestly though, there was no way I'd ever have been able to build anything with them, I think all of the instructions get ruined one of the times the garage flooded.
Ive still got my containers full of them and all intructions at the bottom of the barrel
