Not the greatest attempt at a joke (previously "i-Club need a new forum area!")

I originally intended this thread to be as a sarcastic joke poll for creating a "Kill Stories" forum section modeled after another forum (that apparently has no problems with endorsing street racing), but apparently it was not received well. Personally, I am always amazed at drivers that take this seriously and are proud to gloat about such activities. I have never endorsed or participated in street racing and actually have had friends injured in some. This was merely to entertain the people who actually take owning modified cars seriously. If you are interested in checking out what some other less-responsible car owners are doing, here is the original link I posted http://www.allfordmustangs.com/forums/kill-stories/

Again, my apologies for inadvertently offending anyone when its was never my intention to do so. Unfortunately, I cannot delete this threat or alter the poll options (I would have no problem if the administrator does it), so I have changed the body of the original message. As one of the members mentioned, it probably would have been wiser to make a poll seeing if there is interest for sanctioned racing experiences thread, so all of us can gain some meaningful knowledge from each other. Oh well. Thank you and have a great day.

Street racing is illegal and unsafe. 'Nuff said.

I have confidence that we are responsible enough not to stoop to that level.

many, many, many moons ago, I-club used to have a section exactly like what you describe. Alas, that section has been blown up into oblivion, never to be seen again.

Okay...I see no one is getting the point...I do not endorse street racing in any way, shape or form and have never done it. This was meant to be a JOKE as I am NOT being serious about this. I always was amazed and amused by what some other brand owners brag about to make themselves feel good about driving their particular car. I wanted to post this to poke fun and communities that actually toke this stuff seriously. I am sorry if I did not accomplish this.

Yea voted no. Taking the note into consideration it woul be cool if all the posts began with. " I was at infinon last wednesday, or Sac and crushed this mustang" but since street racing is neither condoned nor tolerated I would have to say no. Looked at the other threads though and they were funny.

I would support it if it was done at the track.

Ah man, that's an awesome idea! I should have included that as an alternative option.
