Let me also mention that the dog dying scene had even me drawn in and on the verge of tears (almost) and I never get affected by sad movie scenes... The scene where he is driving after the dog died and looks over at his passenger seat was like the most heart wrenching scene I've seen in a long *** time.

i would say zombie-like since like the alpha male created that trap. and we ALL KNOW that in zombie movies, zombies are stupid and dumb...
well except that last one the romero telephoned in the script LAND OF THE DEAD...
sigh...
on another BB, i saw the term ZOMPIRES...
lol...

yea i will have to agree that the movie has many holes in the story. theres just not enough explanation for the movie. however i liked this movie and will smith once again did a good job. ill give it an "ok". interesting plot that really did scare me for once.
questions:
when Will Smith was in the "hive" and shined his flashlight into a room of "zombies" what the heck where they doing? it looked like they were huddled together breathing really hard.
how did Fred move locations? and who set up that trap?
what was the books ending? was the world saved?

the vampire that scowled at Will when he took the girl vamp (probably the girl vamp's boyfriend?) was the one who moved Fred and set the trap. it was the same trap that Will had set for the girl vamp, too.

No doubt, he was def ripped as a mother f'er... Sadly it is more than likely that he's on some type of steroid, probably test... You cant get like that naturally unless you have some INSANE genetics, and judging from Will's past, he doesn't as he used to work out in the Fresh Price days and he was still skinny as heck.

Ha, finally saw this! I was very entertained. The CG New York was pretty cool, all the grass/weeds all over. CG animals were meh, well it was very CG but then again nobody has mastered a CG animal or human. Aside from my jaded CG eyes, I still enjoyed the movie!
