oh ok got it.
I dont see how people even ride in the left section of road. I would always ride on the right section, especially in blind corners.

This explains why the right side of my car is scratched up because thats how i drive.
Leaving a 2-3 foot gap from my car and the DY has saved me a couple times.

There have been 17 fatal motorcycle crashes in the last 3 weekends.

Please be careful out there... some were the guys riding. Some where the guys driving..

Yup - especially on a motorcycle. The rider enters the corner too quickly and loses confidence. The natural reaction is to get hard on the brakes and stand the bike up (go straight). Unfortunately this takes you either off the road in a left hander or into oncoming traffic in a right hander. It takes a lot of will power to stick with the line - especially when you feel that "Oh Crap!" moment.

Also posted on BARF, a rider was killed on Skaggs Road on Sunday. Skaggs is not strictly bay area, but riders from SF and north bay often head up there for the quieter roads.

Yet no one thinks it'll ever happen to them...

Fatality on Skaggs Springs Rd here in the North Bay yesterday too: http://www1.pressdemocrat.com/articl...&template=kart

Yeah, Ive been lurking in BARF the past few days and decided not to Supermoto the KTM 400 i have.

The Supermoto BARF guys cruise up my road every other weekend, and i chase them down on my 2 stroke if im out riding my backyard, but i'll keep it at that.

Maybe ride around town if i ever move into a quiet neighborhood.

the only thing stopping me from a 30 mpg Lotus Elise is the $40,000

But i'll remain a cager for now...er in my miata, a no cager :/

My "Kirkland Signature Elise" (MR2 Spyder) is wicked fun and gets about the same MPG. Also can find these for around $8k sometimes with nice mods.

I got into work this morning and a few people seemed to think I was killed on the way in to work. I guess someone with a bike like mine bought it on 87 this morning too. I have to say, usually I am on the road by 7:45 or 8am, but today I was an hour or so late - it was a WHOLE different kind of traffic. It was actually pretty scary..

On Friday, I drove my R32 w/ camping gear and stuff down 9 to 236 and it was the first time I had driven a car for over a week. It was a neat experience, and I feel like my time on the bike has made be a better car driver... I dunno. Maybe.

time on a bike definately makes you think about line choice better.

LOL@ "Kirkland Signature" its just hard for me to convert, because i love my Miata, but i really am tempted to now that MR2s are sub$10K of course i could buy an older one, but there are too many doriftors that have them, i dont wanna be stereotyped as one of them

I have my aw11... I love that thing to death. Clean car with clean mods making the car look stock from the outside is the key, not to look like a toyota squid.

B.T.W. I'm 750sport on barf I see allot of you guys there.

Here is another example of ****ty journalism. I'll be emailing them about this too..
I put some other dude on blast months back when he wrote about the man who was struck, several times, and killed on 880. the title of that article [about 880] was just not right by any means.

Now this bone head [reporting about 17] is a joke, why is he tagging this as a traffic issue? A man lost his life and the pictures are just horrible, totally disrespectful..
