Hwy 17 Fatal Crash

Hwy 17 two motorcyclists collided, 1 death, others injured. Pray for the survivors and each family's well being.

I came home 17, and normally short cut thru downtown LG to avoid beach traffic. I went all the way over, it was stopped from LG all the way to the Summit.

I went to Santa Cruz last night, traffic was stopped all the way to Scotts Valley, about 12 miles total. It looked like a giant tailgate party.

Wow this was really unfortunate. I was out in Santa Cruz yesterday too and I just missed this by 15minutes.... Got home in San Jose roughly around 4:30.

Sad, but true. This year has been horrendous so far with several motorcycle fatalities every weekend since the weather improved (something like a dozen fatalities over the last month). On BARF, there have been numerous threads about this. Worst of all, several of these accidents were due to the rider blowing the DY which should be an avoidable situation.

I feel sorry for those involved, and RIP to those who didn't make it.
