Well at least it's tied 2-2 for now. The home plate umpire is pretty inconsistent with calling ***** and strikes

I was flipping back and forth between the Padres and the Giants and there was maaaaybe a minute difference between the ends of both those games.

Also - looking up the rules; if Atlanta (who I want to face in the NLCS) gets the WC, we need to have the second best record in the NL to face them since Philadelphia is in their division. Otherwise, we face Philly and I am NOT about that.

We are currently 1 game up on Cincinnati.

Yeah, the Giants need to face the Braves or Cincy in the first round. The Giants have a much better chance to take Philly in a 7 game series (plus there is always the slim chance of someone knocking Philly out in the first round too).

My sentiments exactly, but I would rather have the Braves in the race than San Diego - they have had our number all year and the last 3 games are going to be BRUTAL...I can't wait

As far as the NLDS goes, we are going to have to play well to win in it. The NLCS is going to be us fighting tooth and nail - biting and scratching our way to the pennant, most likely against Philadelphia...maybe Cincinnati if we get lucky.

For the Series - it's going to be either the Rays or the Yankees. I don't see the Rangers or the Twins winning the ALCS (though one can hope....) if we get there - we are going to be fighting either of the best teams in baseball - this will be a huge challenge and monumental hurdle to overcome but hey, stranger things have happened in October.

16-10 record for The Freak. That sounds really good considering the kind of month he had in August.

Yeah, and if the Giants win today OR the Padres lose today, the Giants only have to take one game of the series. So close I can taste it.
