talked to the redwood sports car club today about teaming up for a road rally event benefiting the boys and girls club of the redwoods. This will be a timed staged event. Anyone interested in participating/volunteering? Also for this to be worth it we need to form a club. To do this we need to agree on a name. FarNorCalRally something like that. Thoughts? Suggestions? I will have more info next week.

Yea my wife said she liked the sound of your exhaust thats why I was asking. Also she said that if you say NorCal everyone will think its from San Fran area because that is Norcal even though its more Mid than north. But she suggested something like North Coast Subaru Club (NCSC) or North Coast Impreza Club (NCIC). Something Along those Lines since we are all on the coast. The more Ideas on names the better the selection right.? The car is yet delayed again. Suspension came back and needed to go back to the rebuild center to get repaired a bit more. lovely. Soooo If I get my car back I think I would be down for the rally. my car is setup for Tarmac since I dont have anyother wheels for off road. I really need a seat harness though, for the final interior touch.

This is a small community. If you are going to blatantly exclude the other car enthusiasts around here, your club will be lucky to make it off the ground. Especially if you are starting the club with the purpose of sponsoring an event. Last time I checked, the RSCC did not have many members driving Subarus...

Thats True, but aren't most car enthusiasts in the area already in the RSCC or some other car club? I didnt think it was going to be a Big organized group or a group to sponsor events let alone compete against the RSCC. Its just a fun club for subaru enthusiasts, there isnt one around here. But don't other clubs in the subaru forums usually stick to something subaru related in the name? Not that it matters much to me, just that people interested in this club all own subaru's anyways hence why a Subaru named Club (Norcal Subies, Bay Area Impreza Club, North West Impreza Club you get the idea exc...). Thats just what I thought we were making the name for. If its going to entail a multitude of car manufacturers and models then yes I agree with Aboothman on making a club name that would accompany multi cars. Like "Lost Coast Car Enthusiasts", "Lost Coast Car Club", "Coastal Car Club","Old Coast Car Club", "Back Road Car Club". Make stuff up lol
