I went all up and down Stagecoach Road and ended up spending most of my time on the beach. Beautiful day!

Am I the only one that has braved the clam river water crossing twice to drive on the beach? Granted the second time I did get some water in the engine bay, so thats why there was never a third attempt...

I've never tried that one since I've never had any desire to throw my bug eye around in the sand out there.

I got tuned last weekend! The Dyno was un available as a car was blocking the way and couldnt get the keys to move it, Sooo we headed out to some farm land with a few good straights and did a road tune. So after several 3rd gear pulls we got some good numbers. It wasn't as accurate as a Dyno tune but it was close enough. I got somewhere around 325tq/320whp and my ACVS wasnt working!!!! I have a rear cam sensor gone bad, I think as the code says valve open. Anyways that didnt really effect the tune much so he set it at 21psi and said that when I get the problem solved then I should be at full boost at around 3300 rpm vs 3800-3900. But the difference from before is Amazing! Im glad Its finally done! I get my new seats next week and a free set of front Brembo's!!! haha

Sweet!! Can you post your road dyno sheet? Any logs?

What turbo are you running, and where were you tuned?

Well, I dont have the logs, I will see if I can get them emailed. He did it on his laptop so I would assume he could just send me something atleast. Ill check with him. But it was in Portland at PDX Tuning. Ive been tuned there before but jerrod (spelling?) the owner knows his stuff! He also let me in on a secret about fitting a R180 with stock wrx Hubs and brakes thats inexpensive :biggrin2: He has posted it on nasioc before but some people weren't convinced and not many know about it. He showed me the setup on his 08 wrx also so I KNOW it will work As for the Turbo its a Hybrid VF37 Twinscroll with a 20G compressor wheel and ported intake and exhaust inlet/housing and coated exhaust and compressor housings (Turbo work was done by Blouch), also paired with an AVO Twinscroll Wastegate Actuator.

Ah so you did go to PDX...good stuff. I have always heard good stuff about them.

You must tell me more about making an R180 work. I really want to use an R180 for my swap

hehe. The secret is as follows:

1) Get an R180
2) Get 06-07 Legacy Spec B Rear Axles
3) Install
4) Have Fun!

Thats pretty much all there is. The 06-07 Legacy Spec B's have the R180 and 5x100 Bolt Pattern and the Axles will work with the wrx 5x100 hubs! The axle boot on the hub to axle side may need to be pushed back a little, but I think that is only on 08+ wrx's. I was soo glad that came up when I was talking about getting an R180 but having to get the Brembo's, Hubs, STi Axles. Instead of having to get all those things at once I can do just half now and benefit from it and then get the rest later. Now, The only hard part is finding 06-07 Spec B rear axles. :S

Oh, I knew that...I thought there was a different way. Those axles are EXPENSIVE if you buy them from the dealership. Considering that there are less Spec B's out there, and Legacy owners do not beat on their cars as hard/ total them, they are going to be difficult to find used.

That is why I went with hubs/axles and rear brembos...when all was said and done, it did not really cost me any more money. Of course I have dual drilled Rota DPTs...cause I was thinking ahead I was able to put my Koni inserts into the STi front strut housings with a little work, and the rears are the same. Springs, tophats, all the same. Adjustable lateral links...same. Trailing arms, well you get the idea.

I also scored a killer deal on a full set of Brembos, and sold the fronts for what I paid for the set, so the rears were free.

Finally managed to get my dyno chart(s) scanned and uploaded. Not bad considering it is VERY conservative, and I ran out of injector at 6k RPMS. I cannot wait until I get my ID1000 injectors, a retune, and a 100 octane map!!

Weren't you running 750 injectors? And the first graph would probably look something close to mine if I had a dyno sheet to go from, but mine went to 8200 rpms. All I need to do now is figure whats wrong with my AVCS and why its not working properly. I hope to take it apart tonight or tomorrow. Ive pulled the driverside rear cam sensor but thats not it. Next is the Pass rear cam sensor.

Went for a drive over to Kneeland in search of the dirt road that's supposed to run down to Bridgeville on 36. Maybe I took a wrong turn or just didn't get far enough but this drive is *****. I had to turn around after some pissed off dogs and cows wouldnt get the hell off the road.
