Hey all, I will be visiting the Humbolt vicinity from San Francisco over the next couple days (4 day weekend FTMFW :banana and was wondering if there are any meets in the area (it will be my first time there). Whatever the case, you guys might see a new '06 slow poke WRX running around there for couple days. Happy New Year to everyone as well.

You must be the Mike-tuned Subie owner that Marit said was heading up over the weekend.
The original plan was to get Never Slip'N's car tuned this weekend, but it is going to be another week or so, so I should be around.
That is, if I every finish this dam diff/hub/axle swap lol. I worked from 10 am yesterday to 1 am this morning. Granted there were 2 or so hours of hanging out, but GODDAMN! I am crazy sore from hours of beating on stuff with a sledge hammer and using other stone-age tools
Now I get to finish the job by swapping out the rear diff...again. Wish me luck!

That is really sad news about Speed Element...I used to take my old Honda there all the time, in general a good little shop.
Umm you do have a friend with a D90, you know....jeez. Someday I might even figure out how to properly use the damn thing!
Yeah, no...I dunno that guy, and from what I understand he's actually a commie

What is a commie? These days, I think the buzz-evil-word is Terrorist, or Dirka-Dirka.
I finished the swap, but I need to adjust the e-brake. 12 hours under my car....after 15 yesterday, and I am ****ING DONE SON!!
Now where is that turbo....

bump for the **** of it!!
The lost opportunity of the 20g is still haunting me, but I have a promising lead on a kit to flesh out my 30r setup
Not that I can afford it right now, but tax return time is just around the corner...

So I created a group on here. If nothing else, it is an easy way to keep track of the screennames for other Humboldt area folks.

Just got that bolt that was hard to get to on the bottom side of the DP. The reason it wasn't threading was I bolted up the rear part of the DP and it was pulling the bottom apart. I loosened all nuts and bolts and started that one first after yanking around on the DP. Man the EWG makes it SUCH a tight fit, now to try and get some torque on it, lol. See you in a bit homie.
