whew...thanks for the advice. From what I read it seemed pretty common, but then again, every once in a while someone would suggest it could be something terrible. When I brought it up to my bf's dad, he said-in his thick Polish accent, "I hope I deeed notheeng to hurt the flywheel!!" Me, "gulp."
So, what's the deal for Wednesday? Any ideas?

And yeah, same deal with mine, the squeaking doesn't seem to affect the performance of the clutch. (though if you ask me, the clutch has always been a little mushy. I had the same complaint with my 02)

Ya these stock clutches leave a lot to be desired, but until I can afford my STI tranny, I am good I guess it could be a little creaking coming from the springs on the pressure plate, but I find it hard to believe we could hear that all the way through the bell housing and the firewall. I am not worried at all.

I dunno about Wednesday, kinda waiting to hear back from J or J. We will figured someything out tho.

I am down for a drive tomorrow. If you are having clutch noises I suggest some 6k launches to smooth the clutch surface out

LoL we just raped Adam's garage for parts for the '92 Legacy. I think it will be the first one with a leather Recaro!

Nice! A Recaro seat in an old Legacy, huh? Isn't that sort of like an old woman getting a boob job?

Well this old bird is getting some 500cc silicones! We are trying to fit STi suspension on it and if it doesn't fit we will put the WRX suspension on it. It's getting a WRX motor, tranny, and ECU as well as WRX front brakes. We have a 2.5" 5Zigen cat back to chuck on it as well as STi and WRX sway bars. Lots more goodies to put on this but don't fell like listing them all, maybe when it is "finished". We are totally making this a rally mobile

Not sure on a time or place for tomorrow yet. Have to make that run to Mendo, then get back early afternoon. Give me or J a call and we can figure something out once we get back.

J, I will call the office first thing in the morning and let you know what I find out. I think we should leave around 9 at the latest.

Well, sorry we didn't get to all meet up today (flakes! JK! ) Some other time for sure. I hope you boys had fun on your adventure! I personally went up Hookton Rd. out to the south Jetty, and about halfway to Petrolia. Petrolia is a fun freaking drive-we all need to go out there sometime. I got (I think) some great pics...35mm, so as soon as I get them developed I'll post some up here.
In the meantime, here is a random group of pics to tide my Humboldt County people's over Oh hey, Adam...are you from the midwest by any chance? You sound like you have a Michigan accent.

So here's a view of what it looks like when I'm typing
