I am going to be a tester of sorts. By the way, I have a ton of the bulb condoms if you need to swap any interior lights over to red...

Have you ordered your pistons, rings, bearings, etc yet? I still want to swap intake manifolds, and I should do it soon so you won't be waiting on me to put your motor back together.

I plan on doing some p'n'p work, and and am going to gut my TGVs....should be interesting.

Other than being up to nothing, I now have my laptop, a 400 watt 3.5 amp power inverter, an LC-1 wideband, and some motivation to learn how to destroy my motor MWAHAHAHAHAHA *cough*
np on the stuff man, glad it can help.

Ordered the pistons, rings, and bearings today! WOOT!!!11!!!!eleven!!!

Hopefully they will be here Friday and I can get the cylinder work done Monday (already got an appt with S&H).

Exciting to say the least.

Hello,Humboldt. I plan to move to the Eureka area eventually. Is it true that you are not subject to the biannual Smog Check? Once the car is registered in your name, the state leaves you alone? And is your premium fuel 91 octane or something better?

Yes, that is true regarding smog checks.

Our premium is 91, and is more expensive than many places in the state due to our remote location....around Tahoe prices. There are a few places that sell race gas, but I am not totally familiar with the price.

no smog for life ever if the car is new. If you buy the car used it has to be smoged once and never again.

Renner sells race gas (104) for ab bout $6 a gallon. You have to have your own fuel bottle as they won't pump it in your car.
