ya, I am down. Most of the weekend is free....just need some time to put on my taillight tint and a few other things. Looks like weather will be better Saturday...supposed to be early showers on Sun, and rain the beginning of the week.

Been at the Fortuna muffler shop the last few days helping dude get his RS swap running. That and earning some money for my blow through MAF and a retune, at the advice of Derek. Still going to do some logging and see what Ed can come up with tho. Cannot be all bad, since he did tune an 11 second stock turbo STI.

Yeah, I was a little jealous to say the least. Is my XXXXL in pink done yet?

maybe...I am not sure what my plan is yet. I want to go, but I want to keep the miles below 20k in 1 year lol. I am up in the air between SubieFest and the drive next weekend.

so DUDES, the Blocksburg road is SICK!! A few short gravel spots, but most of the road is fairly smooth. Good corners, only a few narrow sections, and KILLER views.

Didn't get a chance to check out the Dyerville road....next time.

Now to decide if I want to do on the drive in Santa Rosa next weekend, or head to SubieFest. OR, I can save my money for a blow-through MAF, a new intake, brake upgrades, and a retune.

Dyerville road? Looking at the topo map it looks like there's a road that kicks off between Alderpoint and Blocksburg towards Fort Seward, then to Dyerville Loop. My parents live on lower Dyerville loop but I've never driven that direction.

I do know that the "mail ridge" road that meets up with the road between Garberville and Alder Point is really rough, I wouldn't take it in a car.

ya, we took the AP road yesterday. It was not too bad, but it did have some decent holes and uneven surfaces. A lot of dope grower traffic lol. Rude bastards...most of them didnt even waive!!

THIS is the Fort Seward cutoff between Blocksburg road and Dyerville Loop road that you were talking about. We saw it yesterday, but decided to go to Garberville for food instead. That is the way I want to check out next time.

I am finding that in Humboldt, the best roads are the ones least traveled.
