Just posting in here to give the guy a chance to bump his post count...

My last ride (before my OBXT) was a F250 4X4 with a 4" exhaust and chipped for fuel economy/power. Yep, black plume if you really step on it (and great turbo whine) but with the exhaust, chip, and good highway tires I averaged 22 MPG cross-country and 18 around town.

My wife drives the truck when we're not pulling the trailer. As far as a gas hog, she averages about the same as my WRX, and would be getting better mileage than Daniel in his STi

Did you get his plate? Call 1-800-exhaust, but I read they just send them a boring non threatening letter, then you should call the CHP or something. Report him as wreckless driving AND smokes coming out of his car.

What I don't get is why the owners of these obviously modified vehicles NEVER get pulled over for modified anything. It's complete bulls1t really. Such a double standard.

would you rather see them try to "squeeze" into something smaller?

Only thing I'd like to see them squeeze into is a coffin!

You don't know my mom... She would have flipped out and probably smacked me across the back of my head, besides, I didn't know there was going to be a plume of black smoke like that... It was two lanes that turned into one, so I couldn't pass him even if I wanted to. If I was there alone I would have torn his automatic POS a new crap hole.... The thing was fast, but NOT THAT fast, I was merely stating that it was fast compared to most other trucks.

People in trucks ALWAYS try to race me for some reason... Mostly the full size GMC Sierra, and the ford equivalent. I don't understand why? Why would they do it? Their trucks are slow and I could have sex with the owners mother while driving and still beat them by car lengths, thats where I shove the mom out of the window and roll out of there.

Everyone has different taste. Our modified cars are not exactly enviromentaly freindly either, unless you have at least a highflow cat and drive slow. When I tell people I like to modify subaru, many think it is odd to modify a subaru. Not really known as real sport-car company to the general public. And that is exactly why I like Subaru. It is or was somewhat of underdog.
