HP Touchpad 16gb $99
Did anyone jump on this? reading around on Google It seems that HP Is getting out of the Tablet business ( Can't compete with Apple ) and have Discontinued their line up of 16 and 32 gb tablets ( $99 for the 16gb and $149 for the 32gb )
I heard about It this morning from a friend saying that Best buy was selling them, So I drove to the San Carlos one and got laughed at and they said I was way too late lol I got there 20 mins after they opened haha, I guess the sale really started yesterday.
I eneded up ordering 2 on amazon for $200 so I'll see If they actually show up lol
Anyone else check this deal out?

Keep in mind inventories aren't being updated fast enough - so no guarantee on actually getting one.

copied this from one of the reviews left on amazon, Makes me feel better that even though It doesn't say HP touch pad Its still the same unit.
This review is from: FB454UT Smartbuy TouchPad QUALCOMM Snapdragon APQ8060 1.2 GHz 802.11 a/b/g/n Wireless 9.7" IPS TFT 1GB RAM 16GB
FB454UT IS the model number for the 16GB HP Touchpad. Buy with confidence. No need to have worries over it being a different product. Thanks HP, Onsale and Amazon.

well I saw this coming, BesyBuy was sitting on 200,000 touchpads that nobody was buying, they were even threatening to send them back to HP. The biggest problem is if you buy anything that not running Android or iOS your taking a big risk on seeing any support/apps for it later on, and now that HP is getting out, the touchpad OS is basically a dead end.
though for 100 if your just going to use it to surf the internet or as a media player.
