Dang... crazy.... if that was me I'd have two safety beeners and be clipping/unclipping step by step so one is always attached to something. Sure it'd take forever. Good thing that's not my job.

i havent been to that height, only about 1200 feet
both climbers most likely had bags weighing about 30lbs each.
if you've ever climbed a tower, you will know that you cant put anything on your thighs/chest. you need all the movement you can get, and there really isnt much room to get your body through, let alone anything strapped on there. also, if you are fumble ****ing through a chest pack up there, you will drop something.
most of the time there isnt anything to clamp onto. also, they dont really show it in this video, but alot of times there are missing pegs, and large flanges you have to lift yourself over, with no tie off. Thats where it gets sketchy.
The higher you go, the higher the wind. The towers at mt san Bruno, the wind at the base could be 10mph, but 100 feet up, its about 85mph, with a 30 degree windchill.

Heres one from the tower on top of the empire state building, not as high but a better shot down, and for some reason looking down on the buildings gives it a perspective that makes it look freakier to me than just open land, at least for me, yikes!
