How are your struts holding up?

Just curious if any of u who have or run an aftermarket springs, stock wrx strut set up, have had to replace your struts, or how long have you ran on this set up for?

Cause springs where my first mods, several years ago to my impreza when the 2002's where out for about a couple months, and I have I'd say about around 53k on the stock struts and there still surprisingly holding up!

When I changed out my stock suspension it had around 90K on it. The front right strut was blown and leaking oil but it wasn't something I noticed while driving. Now I've been on my AGX+Eibach combo since September 04 and its holding up great.

What springs are you running?

I had Progress springs on my stock struts. Lasted a bit over 20k then they were shot. I wasn't a fan of the drop the Progress springs had (1.8 drop in front, 1.5 drop in rear). And I couldnt get in my own driveway without coming in at an angle.

Replaced with sti v8 suspension...much much better in every aspect.

I'm running Eibach pro kit and stock struts.. it's fine, but every time I start running it for the first time of the day (morning afternoon or night) there's this certain bump (not speed bump) before I get onto the freeway entrance from hilltop drive, I get the crunch sound from the back struts. It's weird because it's only that one time everytime I run it for the first time of the day. it's a squeeky crunch... you guys ever get that?

P.S. I've had the springs in for about 5K miles now

struts r holding up great w/ 5k on them
however my tires were worn to hell, i think i need camber plates in frnt and bolts in back. does anyone reccomend a good aftermarket strut for a really soft ride, have a baby on the way and i dont want the car to be soo bouncy
