How to pick a presidential candidate... helpful tool.

If you're not sure where the candidates stand on the issues that concern you, use this tool to find out...

That has to be the worst tool to ever use. I so did not believe the matches it came up with me, when I compared the top 3 the top two were no were close to how I feel or answered. There were many questions that I answered strongly favored for and their claim for my number 1 pick was always neutral or somewhat against, compete BS!!!!!!

I do not think that was even a fare representation of any of the candidates views.

It is a good thing I already know who I am voting for and understand the issues. If you do not know who you want to vote for or know about the issues, do your self a favor and do not use that tool.

I'm probably going to vote for Wesley Clark or John Kerry in the primary.

All I care about is someone who can Beat Bush.

i refer to my "California Primary Election" pamphlet, and do ALOT of research on the candidates. i admint that i listen to alot of talk radio but i do listen to both 560 and 810 to get both sides of the bashing, (and during election time) their interviews with the respectful party's candidates.

CBS has the right to turn down any ad they want to. They do not have to be fare about it. Hello this is America. That is why you can not rely on any one source to get all your information and you should never fully trust any source no matter how many you get. All sources will be biased, you have to be smarter then the average bear and learn to think for yourself.

Edit: cause I can not spell

i thought it was useful to see where the candidates stood vs each other on certain issues. the media coverage doesn't focus on the issues anymore... all they talk about is personaility, "electibility" and so on.... i want to know where the candidates STAND on issues.

as for the tool.... it worked for me.

I am just saying that because I talk about all the issues every day in all my Pol Sci classes and with all my friends I feel I have a decent grasp on were the candidates stand. I do not rely on only mass media for my information. Knowing were they stand, I have to say that I personally do not think that that tool represents any of the candidates. Maybe on one or two issues it is right on, but overall it is not accurate.

another thing, is that the link provided is presented by AOL and Time Warner, both of whom together hold a large representation of the left wing, liberal news media and communication outlets. though, i have nothing against this, i most definitely would not think a tool presented by them would be the best place to help you decide where your vote should be casted.

that's just my .02

wrexxy: The media isn't liberal. Thats just a myth. The media will side with big business before it will side with any political ideology.

Russ: Well, Bush doesn't have anyone to run against to get the Republican nod.
