might help explain the breakdown... it didn't work for me cuz it's within 75 days of my renewal date, hopefully it works for you.

Its nice to know the extremely high cost of our registration is fixing our roads and freeways. i love dodging all the cracks, potholes, uneven pavement! anybody drive down 680 lately??? california has the best roads in the US! hahhahahhhah what a joke!

The last 2 years we paid way above so no clue. They would only say its what it says so pay it bs. Two years ago our STi was only 270.

* Registration Fee
* Vehicle License Fee (This is the fee that may be an income tax deduction)
* Weight Fee
* Special Plate Fee
* County/District Fees
* Owner Responsibility Fee
I'd guess you'd have to compare all of those individual fees to really figure it out.

but in chicago is not just registration you need to pay, if your a resident city of chicago another fee you need to pay a city sticker that i believe is $120 and that is huge very hard to take off has to be present on your windshield at all times sticker

at some city neighborhood your own front side street parking requires you to pay $45 if your car is registered on that adress
