Sept. 2003: 85 in a 50 on N17 at lexington reservour. Cop was nice enough to knock it down to 75 in a 50. This was in my girlfriends 93 nissan sentra. $250+$40 traffic school.
sept. 2004: 70 in a 55 on E299 in Weaverville driving with the flow of traffic in front and behind me, but CHP flips a ***** and pulls me over. From the oposite direction he said he got me going 70MPH when I was really doing 65. he knocked it down to 65 in a 55. $120. I should have attempted traffic school but didn't know that I could. This one was in the WRX when I was still 100% stock.

Only have 1 moving violation in the suby. It was just about the time I put in my sti v8 suspension and "testing" it out. Brisbane PD got me for "unsafe lane movement" on old Bayshore Blvd. No one was one the road...except for the cop who was at least 1/4 mile away when I noticed him. Gave me the whole "I can have your car impounded for wreckless driving, blah blah blah...". BTW, the speed he registered on the citation was 25mph. Absolutely no one on the road, 25 mph. I tried to talk my way out of it, but he wasn't trying to hear it. I think the only reason why he didn't tear into me too much was that I was that I had grease all on my hands and arms so the "testing" story seemed plausible. Over $120 later and traffic school, the slate is clean once again.

I had 9 tickets before I got the WRX.
I've been pulled over 3 times in the WRX (2 of them on sunrise ave. when they started the const by 80 and lowered all the speed limits) 2 tickets.

Kern County 120mph in 70, cop wrote 120. Lost license for a month and got a $1500 fine. That was a pain. it was CHP

Let's see...
-non fixable-it ticket for exhaust in milpitas.
-ticket about 2 years ago on 280 doing about 75-80 by the Camaro SS cop.
he told me, "I know you got a fast car. I got a fast car too.. sometimes you just wanna let it rip and see what your machine can do but its not safe blah blah". He tried to be hip and friendly.
-ticket about 6 months ago 280 south sheriff followed me from cupertino all the way to san jose, said my exhaust attracted him at first. My car is completed debadged including the wrx, he came to me and said, "ummm refresh my memory this is a subaru right?", On my ticket it says "subaru".
-Went to a place to get my thumb printed for a job, one hispanic cop complemented me on my car saying he loves subaru's. He then told me, "There's a place in fremont that can mod your car." Cool guy
That's my experience with cops and my subaru.
