Eat a lot of protein and some egg whites. When the gas starts to build up, go in your car and let loose. The molecules of the smoke will engage with the bodily gasses and cancel themselves out. Your car will smell like nothing after an hour.

+1 on dryer sheets. I keep a travel pack of dryer sheets in my car instead of air freshener.

I picked a can of ozium up at wal-mart or autozone. It's a deodorizer and sanitizer. Don't spray it while you're in the car though. Spray it and shut the door.

my friend used fabreeze on his car and he said it worked... Never tried myself though. Also, you might want to change the cabin filter if it's coming from the vents.

So just leave the dryer sheets in the car and it will absorb the smell?

Just leave your friend in the car and he will absorb the smell - then get rid of him and the car will smell fresh

What if his friend IS the smell? Then you're screwed.

ozium is good smell killer. I sprayed it when I got home and I just went in the car, holy smokes(or the lack of) it smells like sterile lemons

put out some charcoal brickets out on a paper bag and let that suck up the smell. My moms friends car was stolen once and the guys that stole it smoked like chimminies inside, she put some in the car and in a couple of days it was gone!
