How do you guys get under your car?

Im looking for some tips on how to lift my front end enough to install a lip I just received. My car is too low to get a jack under and when I drive up rhino ramps my splitters rub so im scared to install the lip then drive back down them without ripping the lip off.

Try your spare tire jack to lift the car high enough for a regular floor jack.

I did a front lip on mine recently, I found it really easy to just take the bumper off and flip it upside down.

when you're that low, it's always a good idea to keep some 1' long 2x4's in the trunk, good luck changing a flat tire w/no room to fit even the slimmest jack...

You can do a couple different things here...

1. purchase a set of Race Ramps Trak Jax or check out their other products to assist you. Their website is very helpful far as ramp selection as well as product details. You can also find these on our website www.tothelimitmotorsportz.com

2. jack fromt the side of the car, one side at a time using jackstands to support just dont jack in an area you plan on putting the jackstand.

^^I'm pretty sure that if you want to advertise for your shop, you need to be a vendor.

Ray, 2x4's are going to be your best friend when you have a low car.

2x4s, or if I don't have those, use the stock scissor jack to lift it enough to fit a normal jack under it, and then when lowering, lower to the point the jack goes, and then use the scissor to allow you to get the jack out, and then lower the scissor jack.

PITA, I know, but it works.

I let my best friend run me over. Only he can do it without killing me horribly.

Everything we do is an advertisement for the shop, our advice, our work, and our suggestions on ways to work if what I come up with is something I sale I am going to direct it my way and we are considering to inquire about being a vendor however we like to see how the forum works out before we do so. We are a vendor for other sites and we like to research it before we jump right into it.

Now back on topic if it helps this is a floor jack that we found that has the lowest profile with the best lift ability, use this often well built jack, kind heavy but its a floor jack. http://www.northerntool.com/shop/too...5429_200345429
