How do I figure out offset of a car...or can someone help me...

How do I figure out offset of a car...or can someone help me...

I want to know if Wheels from a 99 Eclipse GS-X will fit a 92 SC300...if anyone knows or has a way of figuring out please let me know...

OFFSET

If one was to draw a line down the centre of the width of a wheel, the offset would be the distance between the back face (mounting face) of the wheel and the centre line.

It is vital not to deviate too far from the offset of the wheel originally fitted to the vehicle. A wheel of radically different offset can cause serious clearance and handling problems along with accelerated tyre and bearing wear.

The offset of the wheel can normally be found at the back of the wheel. “ET” precedes the offset and is therefore also referred to as the ET numbers e.g. ET35 = Offset of Plus 35mm.

I need a site that will tell me if they will fit does anyone have anything like that?

p.s. suby dude, that was helpful, but I dont have the wheels off the car therefore I cannot measure it.
