^^Man I still can't get it out.. everything is disconnected.. now I am working hard to separate the block from the transmission.. they are fused together or something.. It wasn't even this hard about 8k miles ago when I pulled the tranny because I thought the clutch was spinning.

Now I am in Project:wiggle the **** out of it and chisel at the top

This is gonna sound stupid but this costs me a TON of time and effort...

Recheck for all negative ground straps. I had a REALLY dirty ground strap connected that I didn't see.

I also had to drop the rear end and rock it forward...

I'd make a call to mike.

I am just doing a direct replacement with a 2.0L.
I was pretty happy with the power I had before.. and I wasn't probably less than 200whp. Or whatever you are at with a turboback+accessport.

I will get it running then just get a vf39 or vf34 with the supporting mods(ie injectors fuel pump and bigger TMIC) and call it a day as far as power goes

^^it definitely did sound good.. but the cost difference just wasn't worth it given that my goals are pretty darn mild. I just want my car to handle really well with some decent power... if I can hit about 250whp with the vf39 I will be just fine with that.. I drove my car pretty much stock and was happy.

@stupidchicken.. I figure I was probably right about 200whp if you were at 210whp since I didn't have a protune only a base AP stg2 map.. probably a tad less than 200whp.
