Anyone else home brewing thier own beer? I just got into it with a basic setup this past weekend. I'm doing an Irish stout. The beer is fermenting away as I type. Should be ready to bottle by the end of the month. Maybe if there's enough of us we can meet and exchange beers, tips, tricks, recipes....and at the same time check out eachothers Subies....how cool.

 

I've wanted to try it, where would one purchase a beginers kit?

 

a couple of my friends have theyres usually turns out with about 5-7% alcohol and the taste is actually really good they are on there third brew right now, last one was a peach beer.

Mmmm, beer. I never did it myself because I'd drink way too much beer. I used to live w/ a brewmaster and it was trouble. We always had more beer in the fridge than food despite drinking beer everyday.
