Hockey! Hockey! Hockey! '09/'10
It's almost that time. I can hear the skate blades on ice. I can feel the chill of the rink. I am so excited. Pre-season has already started. I love winter for the simple reason that it brings with it hockey.
Anyone else as excited as I am?

It's that time again! Can't wait to see the boys in teal take center ice again.
Though as much as I am into hockey - if my Giants make post season; I'm going to have to put them on hold until the G-Men are done.

Baseball is dead to me as soon as regular season starts. I don't even care if the BoSox are in the playoffs. I'll read about it in the paper.

I'm right there with you.
What do you think of the Heatley trade? I am pretty happy about it. Cheech and Michalek both had some great seasons, but they both seemed off their game last season, especially Cheechoo. I think this season will be a great one!

Honestly, I'm not sold on the Heatley trade. I'll have to see it with my own eyes. Cheech heated up in the last half. Yeah, he didn't have a great season... I don't know - part of it is just because I really like the guy. Milan's time was up. He just wasn't moving forward like a lot of the other guys.
Back to Heatley - I'm seriously not sold. Look at his numbers the last two seasons and people are expecting 50 goals this year? Hmmm... I don't quite read that the same. We'll be lucky to see 40 out of him. I really hope I'm wrong, but that is what it looks like right now.
Man, almost time to get the blog fired back up. WAHOO!!

On Heatly i was listening to the Razor and Mr. T the other day on KNBR and they were saying that he has quite the bad attitude and that he isn't much of a team player. Granted if he scroes 50 goals no one will care about his attitude but im with you, not sold

The attitude stems from his intense desire to leave the Sens. I hope. I really, really hope that is the source of it. If he can come in and be a team player in a new environment and a place he wants to be then maybe it will work. Granted I could be reading that wrong as well.

Woot...I love thursdays
In other news, I just got offered 4 pre-season tickets for this friday and saturday. Club level, face value $100 each. The guy wants $50 a pop. If anybody is interested let me know. I'd like to go myself but the wife doesn't let me out to play at the weekends
