Highway 1 drive?
Just wondering if anyone would be inrestedin a highway 1 drive?
Just drove it today and it was fun and purtty in my gfs neon.
Was thinking that maybe a semi organizedhighway 1 run would be a fun day. Maybe start out a bit north of SF and run as far as we can go? (fort ross or higher?).
Anyone intrested?

Ya the North Bay group is driving those roads every few weeks. You should come up and run with us. If you're really consitering putting together a run up here, maybe you should talk to us. We can show you some roads that are very low on traffic and often don't have posted speed limits.
We'ld love to meet more people from the other parts of the bay.

PS: But put something together and there's a good chance many of us will show up. Unless we already have something else going on that day.

the drive from SF to Point Reyes Station is a beautiful drive, however, the traffic is usually pretty thick and slow. From Point Reyes Station to Bodega Bay usually is pretty open and fast....but then from Bodega Bay to Mendocino it can be slow, with lots of retired folks in big ol' RVs....caravanning together. But it is a great drive. From Fort Bragg north to Standish-Hickey is a great road (Highway 1), the pavement was NEW when I was out there in August. Again, check out Hwy 25 from Hollister area down into the remote (i.e., few cops, little traffic) Bitterwater area or shoot off onto Coalinga Rd. (one lane in some places) and run it out to I-5. My buddy and I were just out there last Sunday morning (3:00am), fighting the rain.
