hid plug and play kits

4500k is about stock bulb color temp. 5000k is whiter therefore i think is better. if you are gonna get the 55w from ddm, there is gonna be a little bit of color displacement because of the higher wattage. so 5000 for 55w would be similar to 4500. i'd say get like 5500k or 6000k if you want white light. if you would like a more stock light color, then go with what you originally posted.

i have the ddm 55w slim kit.. 5k is a good choice if you're looking for white light.. although it's more towards the 6k spectrum.
If I had to do it again, i'd go for 4000k or 4500k if they have it. not diggin blue-ish lights.

5000k starts to get blue, 6000k are bluer going to purple ish, and 8000k is purple, 10k is very very purple
4300-4500k is ideal and highly recommended
OEM car manufacturers equip their cars with 4100k to 4300k HID bulbs which produce the most daylight-like light output.

35w 4500k with the correct HID projectors
55w in halogen projectors is asking for meltdown. I need to put my tsx projectors in this week before I start to have issues.
and if you get 55w, get the wire harness. stock halogen wiring cannot handle the load of a 55w system.

and if you guys don't want to do the retrofit to HID projectors yourself, this guy is highly recommended over at nastioc http://www.lightwerkz.net/prod_subaru.htm
you can send him your lights and he'll retrofit the projectors into it.

plus you asked for bulb size and I provided the links and information to help people find their size.
getting the correct projectors and wiring harness is super important, unless you didn't care about just handing over some random kit that you haven't told us the brand or information, then they sue you because their car caught on fire.

so, i'm filling up your thread with "ddm this, ddm that" ?
actually i'm not. i posted it once.
go back up and read all of my other posts, because i've been providing people with genuine helpful information regarding temp, bulb size, needing the wire harness if they go 55w, and also retrofitting the correct projectors so their car doesn't catch on fire
you are welcome....

People have been asking what kit you are selling. How are we supposed to know?
Perhaps a bit more information in the OP would have been helpful. I did however give people information about finding their bulb size, as well as temps, which is the information you want people to give you. So now they can learn that from my posts and provide you with what you need.
So please don't be giving me that "whatever bro" garbage.
Thanks for understanding.
Did you ever think that maybe I was interested in knowing what kit you have, because I've recently purchased a DDM kit as I mentioned and maybe I wanted something better?
I have no problem with anybody buying a kit from you. That's cool if you want to put things up for sale for the community.
What I'm trying to get at is that it's important that people know about the wire harness, HID projectors, and glare if they put the plug and play kit into halogen projectors.
If people get 55w, they need the extra power from the wire harness hooked directly up to the battery so that their stock wiring doesn't melt. I wouldn't want peoples cars catching on fire.
If people get a plug and play HID kit and toss it into their halogen projectors, they will have a lot of extra glare and it makes it VERY unsafe for on-coming cars. We don't want to put others in harms way due to this glare. Halogen projectors spread the beam pattern all over the place, and proper HID projectors will have the correct cuttoff, which is why a retrofit is important.
Another thing about having the correct projectors is so that the beam gets projected outward correctly. A stock halogen projector spreads the beam all over, and can cause the beam to heat up the plastic in your light assembly, which can cause it to melt.
I didn't bash or flame anybody in my posts. But I have been proactive in ensuring that people learn about HID kits and how to install them correctly and safely so their car doesn't catch on fire or they cause an accident for another person.
here is a very good HID faw with lots of information

and a quote from the first paragraph in that thread
it is extremely important to do your homework before you buy something, particularly HID-related products.
