crazy, violent video be aware. Seems like the right thing to do would have some ground troops check it out instead of just blowing the people out of the water.

Was just about to post this.
IMO, its ****ed up, but how would you like to be the soldier and go "check it out".
There's like 8 armed men acting suspicious around your comrades and one is kneeling with looked like an RPG. If I was down there and the guys in the apache were asking for permission to engage, I would've told them to ****in engage 10 seconds ago.

The ROE states any individuals carrying weapons are to be engaged. The Apache pilot and his gunner saw guys on the ground with AK's and RPG's walking down the street. It's unfortunate that a few unarmed individuals were nearby the armed insurgents and got killed. They were at the wrong place at the wrong time.

What are those Reuters journalists doing walking with insurgents? Some of those men were carrying rifles you could see even through that crappy video. They should have know that is they are walking with a group of insurgents, they ARE the insurgents. Those pilots did exactly what they should have done. Sorry for being so insensitive but I have no compassion for some idiot journalist's who were embedded with the insurgents.

Civilians will never understand war. They only see whats on the internet and what is broadcast on tv. Totally different experience when you are actually involved in war. Its something you really cant explain.
