what's up everyone! I have some bad news: I was supposed to be Djing for BAM again this year but my work gave me mandatory overtime on that sunday (perfect timing..NOT!) so now i'm not able to contribute my help for the event..

So i'm asking if there are any Dj's on here or if you know any dj's that are able and willing to help out with this GREAT meet! If you have anyone in mind please pm me and i'll relay the message to daniel.. Thanks everyone!

Guys, I'm FREAKING OUT about this! I was totally depending on having Ronald as a DJ and thought I had that squared away, but now we're left without one at the last possible second so as you can imagine I'm freaked out! WE NEED A DJ, or at least we need some DJ speakers (loud speakers) and an ipod, as well as a microphone (like we've done in the past).

Is there ANYONE who can help us out in this bind that we're in? You don't need to be good, all we need is some music, doesn't matter what, it can just be an ipod, put it on random and let it play, but we need to have speakers so everyone can hear it... We also REALLY need a mic so that vendors can announce things and so that people can hear me during the raffle.

Please guys, we'll be TOTALLY screwed because the DJ is one of the most important things to have at the meet, and with this late of a notice I don't know where I'll be able to find one! Please can someone help us out? You dont have to be good, we just need some music and a mic! You dont need records and mix stuff all fancy, all we need is just music that people will like and the ability to talk over the mic. PLEASE HELP OUT! If you do, you'll be made into a VIP member (VIP title and bigger avatar).

Luckily, one of my co-workers is a DJ. Question, does the DJ get paid at all? If it comes down to it, I'll ask him if he'll DJ. He's a cool guy and he DJ's a lot of SJSU frat parties. He was DJ'ing the back to school party for SJSU that got shut down after 2 hours bc there were like 600 people lol.

Anyway, let me know and I'll ask him if he can do it.

 

Well, its a charity event so all extra money we need to spend takes away money from the homeless animals that need that money to find homes... In the past it's always been on a volunteer basis, but if we're really desperate I guess I have no choice.


Like I said, all we really need is an ipod, some speakers, and a mic. Its worked for a few of our events and people can bring their own ipods so they can play the songs they want to hear. Id rather have a DJ, but if you know someone with some equipment that we can borrow for a few hours it would help us out GREATLY!

if someone has any type of entertainment speakers and a mic, should be pretty easy to hook up an iPod to it.

 

I'm not saying you have to pay him. I can probably get him to do it for free. He's hella coo people. Just wanted to know in case he asks. Don't want to give false information. If there is nobody by tomorrow afternoon, I will ask him. Shoot me a PM if you need me to ask him.

 

hit me up saturday as a last resort if you guys haven't found some one. Its been a while since I last DJ'ed but I still have the equipment and can bring it out. Only thing was that I am still not sure if I can make it out due to a baptism that same day (not sure the time yet) otherwise I'd gladly help out. Just msg me as a last resort and I'll see what I can do.
