My mechanic and friend just opened up his own shop and this is right up his alley. He's done a lot of big block swaps, LS1's into 510's, 240's, mustangs, etc. at his previous shop. He specializes in custom fabrication particularly tubing and welding, and he is currently building me a tubular front end for my subie.

He doesn't do paint but he can point you to a good place.

The shop is TredSpeed in Santa Clara. Give Dan a call at 408-627-2209.

think he can do a smog legal M50/Getrag 260 swap in an E30 without raping me on labor costs? Or M60B44 if I find the donor car? I'd prefer the 4.4l V8
