HELP!!! Snapped steering rack bushing bolt!!!
Hi everyone,
So I had the car up today in the garage and I figured I would put in my steering rack bushings. I cross threaded and snapped off the bolt on the round bushing toward the front bumper. Is this drivable to a shop, everything else is bolted back up (I have an appt. with GB in Hayward on Tuesday)? Does anyone have the tools to drill out and rethread a bolt hole??? I'm in Oakland/Montclair with lots of beer, a little money, and conveniently located next to a pizza place available anytime this weekend. Please please please, this is my daily driver and I feel like a total tool for not catching the crossthreading earlier. Please contact me if you know any info about drivability or if you can assist. Thanks I-club.

if the other 3 bolts are in I would just take it easy on turns and only drive it to the shop for repair.
I believe this bolt goes in to the engine cradle so you'll need to be careful drilling/re-tapping the hole.
