HELP! Need an answer on Stromung axleback + TXS midpipe
I need a definitive answer within the next half hour. Anyone running a stromung 3" axleback with a TXS midpipe?
My dilemma: I've got the old TXS midpipe that tapers to 2.5". Mike at Gruppe-S said they can cut my midpipe and weld on some 3" piping with the proper flanges.
The place where I'm buying the Stromung from said there might be issues not with the flanges lining up but the actual position of the TXS pipe and Stromung axleback pipe.
Can anyone confirm if the pipes itself will not line up? I need to confirm myorder soon otherwise I won't get it within the timeframe I'm looking for.
Thanks, danke, gracias, abrigado, and salamat!
Ryan
EDIT: I bit the bullet and went with it. I read folks with TXS stealthback running stromung axlebacks already with no problems with the pipes lining up. Mike will just need to work his magic on the cutting and welding.

Honestly...it's going to work very easily.
Forget the flanges altogether.
We have a TurboXS Stealthback that we had the taper cut out, a section of stainless installed, and they cut the flange on the Bosal 3" exhaust...welded it together, and it works just fine. Since you're not going over an axle, it doesn't matter if that flange is in there.
