Exclamation HELP: I need a new wheel stud asap

I had to take off my wheel today and already knew one of the studs was partially stripped. When putting the lug nuts back on I got four then the last one just kept spinning and grinding so its wayy too stripped to re-thread. Please if anybody can hook me up with one let me know. I just had to drop $$ on Friday getting my MAF and throttle body cleaned out over at Kevins shop so hopefully a new wheel stud won't cost much if I'm forced to get one from the dealer. Thanks in advance. Also is it safe to drive on 4 lug nuts for now... this is on my front right wheel btw.

-Jeff

Ah the 5 bucks doesn't sound too bad but I can't afford 60 for an install at the moment, might have to just do it in my garage.

fronts arent that difficult to replace, ive replaced 11 rofl (dont ask....)
just search the nasioc forums for a how to, its not that hard, and its not worth 60 bux to get it done.
now the rears are a little more difficult... =(

the part costs like $3 from the dealer. i have had to replace a few. the front ones are really easy to replace and take like 15 minutes. the rear is more like a 45 minute job because you have to disassemble the rear drum brake (e-brake) and put it back together which consists of a bunch of little clips and pins that are annoying to get back together

yeah, fronts are no big deal. Took about half an hour.

I called for a quote at Ron Price Subaru in SSF. The guy told me $300 to replace a FRONT wheel stud. I asked him if he was sure and that I had it replaced for $24 back in Michigan...yup, $300 he said...and he made it sound like it's a super rare thing to do.

I paid $5 for the stud at Ron PRice and installed it in 30 minutes.

I had to replace one on the rear of my Legacy turbo. It was quite a PITA because of the rear parking brake crap that you've got to disassemble. Then you've got to get the damn thing out of the hub. Not too tough, but a PITA.
