Hella Supertones?

Anyone in the SF/Daly City area have these installed? I put them on and I expected to be blown away but I didn't get what I wanted.

Could anyone let me hear theirs and compare them with mine?

LMK! Thanks.

I've heard that it may be slightly louder if you use the hella relay, but this is just hearsay

IMO the hella supertones aren't that loud. they are louder than stock, but aren't as loud as air horns. i have them installed if you want to listen to mines. i'm using both horns btw.

My old coworker used to have a truck with some air horn that used something like 60 PSI. That thing was damn loud.

Which model supertone did you get? I found two different models, 85115 and 85315.

85115 is 118dB, while 85315 is 113dB.

Do they sound like big horns from a truck or something?

I don't get the hype.

... I'll be happy to let you listen to mine. I've had doods JUMP out of the way when I layed on the horn. Ask the DCMP crew how loud my supertones are.

Check your install, or check your hearing

I've got them. This is my second set as I let the first set go with the WRX when I sold it...

as was mentioned above, have you stood in front of the car and had a friend honk them? It makes a huge difference. Keep in mind that these are "freeway" horns. Very directional and having a distinctive tone...

I'm in S.F. if you want to compare horns... and I didn't use the relay.
