Its an interesting idea for a movie I just think it could have been executed better, I was expecting more of a horror movie or just more of something, I left the theater kind of dissapointed.

For those that don't know what M. Night Shyamalan looks like (his roles in his films are often brief), here's him at a movie premiere. I believe the woman in this pic is his wife, Bhavna, who is pursuing a Ph.d. in psychology.

the image doesn't work (atleast not for me). either way they are a very good looking couple. i saw them on The View this past week promoting the movie. I heard the movie was so-so. i'll wait till it comes on dvd so i can watch it with all the lights on and in the day time.

Thanks, it didn't work for me, either. Oh, well - fixed it now.

Never watch anything scary with a loved one nearby. A long time ago, I was at Universal Studios with my girlfriend, watching Jaws lunge out of the water at us. She was leaning forward to get a pic of the 'shark' but was startled as it rose up out of the water and she smacked me in the face with the back of her noggin.

lol

About the movie. Me and my friends enjoyed it. For those who think its a horror movie, its not. Yes there are some jumpy scenes, but its not scary. I think people will either hate the movie or really like it. So my advice is, to wait until dvd and rent it.

That movie was the stink man. I knew the whole damn time pretty much what was going on.

SPOILERS BELOW>>>DO NOT READ IF YOU PLAN TO WATCH THIS CRAPPY MOVIE>

ok....here is what I liked.
the cinematography. The guy is an artist. One of the better ones around. He can create an incredible tention with his work and great emotion.

when Pheonix got stabbed...that caught me off guard.

I jumped twice....the guy has a talent...the tention mentioned above...gets you on edge.

the idea/concept of the film. Could have been a great film.

The actors did a great job with what they were given.

the pace...SLOW.

What I HATED.

The hype. The trailers made you think it was a thriller. Fast paced....mosters..etc. It wasn't. Total false advertising.

The writing. The dialogue in this movie was often rediculous.

Movie was too predictable.

mainly I was just unhappy with the movie. I mean I aim low with movies. Entertain me. If you say you're gonna give me a thriller or a mystery...do it. If I can figure out the movie in 5 minutes I'm going to be pissed. That's pretty much it...I'm rarely unhappy. I was unhappy.

He just drops to many clues. If you are not high or sleeping you can see right through everything.

I do not think I will watch another one of his movies in the theatre unless someone else writes it.

He clearly has an obsession with red and yellow. And he clearly thinks he's much more clever than he really is.

I like Sixth Sense. I kinda like Unbreakable...mostly cause of the acting. Story line sucked and was easy to see through. I kinda like signs...similar to unbreakable with a little more tension.

Basically one by one his movies seem to get worse. What's next?

There are some movies I am looking very much forward to though..yeah.

M. Night was like,

"HAHAHA, all you people who thought this was going to be another Paranormal/Scifi/Horror movies are a bunch of suckers! HAHAHAHA"

At least thats what I got from it after seeing it. It was a good movie, if you didnt watch the trailers, and dont expect to see another abnormal Shamalyan movie.
