Has anyone bought from Diablo lately?
I'm looking to pick up a new Legacy for the wife to drive and I see that Diablo Subaru has the style and color we are looking for. I'm curious to see if this dealership is friendly to haggling the price down, or are they a bunch of a$$holes. Let me know anybody who has had dealings with them. Thanks!

All the dealerships are the same to me now... just walk in last day of the month, give them your offer (give a detail breakdown on how you came up with that number), tell him he has one chance to talk to his boss. If he comes back with something else, walk! If he begs to try again, seriously don't give him more than 20 minutes of your time. Don't ever let them run your credit until the deal is set. Once they know you can afford it or more, it's pretty much over. I believe the sales are usually slow in the beginning of the year. Unless you NEED a car NOW, you can always try again next month if this month didn't work for you. And you also have MANY dealerships around the bay. Good luck!

I've checked every dealer's inventory and Diablo is the only one that has the car in Diamond Grey. That's why I'm looking there. I would be going in on the 29th. Mostly due to it being a 3 paycheck month and being able to come up with a good down payment. But also, there is a $1000 customer rebate on the Legacy that expires on the 29th. But yea, I was figuring that I would print all the information out on Edmunds and then walk in there and tell them that I know this car can be sold at this price and this is the price I want to buy it at.

Their online inventory may not be accurate... it's only as accurate as they update it. i recently purchased a car and the online inventory wasn't accurate either.
I called all the dealerships I would possibly go to and told them was blah blah blah (fake name). Found the car I wanted then went to that dealership. When you call, they would say they could "GET" you the car, be sure you ask them if the car is actually in THEIR LOT. I had many dealerships telling me they could GET me the car but none actually had it except for one, which was the one the others were referring to. Good luck!
