Happy Halloween'er! What are you doing today?
Happy Halloween everyone, here's a reminder to be safe and to not drink and drive! There are going to be a TON of cops out IN FORCE making sure that everyone is sober, so why even risk it?
Anyone doing anything fun tonight? Are you going to dress up as anything?
As with every year, I'll be at my sister's house scaring kids and adults alike. We set up a mini haunted house, we go all out with smoke machines, strobe lights, loud horror music, inanimate monsters and clowns... We even use a real chain saw (with the chain removed)... I lurk near the entrance to the front door and stand against the fence and I make it look like I'm fake by propping my weight up against a pitch fork and since I'm so tall, everyone thinks I'm fake (in full costume, this year I'll be some creepy looking devil/demon with mask/gloves/etc). I wear tall platforms so it looks like I'm around 7 feet tall (not kidding) so it usually scares the HELL out of people when I come to life when they least expect it. Almost everyone dismisses me as being fake which adds to the element of surprise, which in turn means that it scares the hell out of everyone, kids and adults alike.
We give out great candy, we have about 10 people in on the operation and every year it's been a GREAT success! I think this is out 5th or 6th year doing it.
Anyone else doing anything fun in the spirit of the day?
