Hankook RS2's are the SHIZZZ!!!!

Got my 245/45/17's mounted this morning, and these tires are by far the best street tires I have ever owned, note that I have never had anything bigger then 215's, but these are simply AMAZING! The only tire Ive like better was an R compoud A032R, but that doesn't count.

I can't believe how amazing these are, and for $303 shipped to my door!

I am just amazed at how great these tires are! In my 10 years in the subaru world I have gonne though many, MANY tires in my time and I can honestly say that these are the best sub $220 per corner tires that money can buy.

They absolutely blow the RE070's that the stock STi came with, If the STi had come with these hankooks off the bat we would have actually beat the EVOs in the magazines!!!

Im sooooooooooooooooooooooooooo happy about running 245's instead of the old 205/215 on the RS... Thank god

Yeah, thats what I hear... Put a good 100 miles on them yesterday doing some standard driving with about 20% hard driving... MAN these tires rock! I dont think I'll even go lower then 245/45/17. People warned me about the 45 series but they were trippin... Stiff *** sidewall and greatness.

I LOVE THESE TIRES!!!!!!!!!!!

The 45 sidewall statement was not a "warning", it was just to let you know that your speedometer and odometer will be off. I swear, reading owns you sometimes dude

In the future, if you cannot find another good deal like this try the Dunlop Z1 Star Spec. Right now they are about 145 a tire for 245s, and it is hands down the best tire I have had.

Then again, I will not get to try these Hankooks out for another half an hour

i'm pretty sure the warning was that 245 should be paired with a 40-series sidewall to keep closest to stock diameter.

Apparently the new RS3's are the complete shizzle hence the stupid low close out on the already impressive RS2's.

Really, they're that much better than the RE070s? If true, that's pretty damn impressive for that price.

Also, what rims did you get these put on?

Yeah man. Between the Star specs, the rs2/rs3, the Ecsta XS, these cheapo ultra high performance tires are rockstars when it comes to dry performance.

In all the tests they only lose out to the expensive tires in wet performance, which is totally alright for those of us who aren't stupid enough to be driving fast when it's wet outside.

Only thing is really lower treadwear with these new generation of tires. The RS3 is 140 and Ecsta XS is 180
